FULL MOON LUNAR ECLIPSE January 31st  – The eclipse season starts with a dramatic Leo TOTAL LUNAR ECLIPSE, which is  also known as a RED moon.  It also happens to be BLUE  moon (the second full moon in a calendar month)  AND it’s a Super Moon, which means that Bella Luna is  much bigger and brighter than normal.

That’s some pretty potent lunar energy right there!

So, as a lover of all things colourful, I’m going to call this a PURPLE MOON (blue and red = purple ?)

This Lunar Eclipse will be followed by Solar Eclipse on 15^th February and both link back to the eclipses in August last year (7^th and 21^st) –  whatever was happening then, is  being brought into the light again, so that we can understand it and navigate more clearly.  This will be shown by wherever Leo 11 degrees lies in your chart.

Let’s look at the colour purple and to purple hearts in particular, which were awarded to soldiers for their bravery. The word courage is derived from the root, “coeur” which means “heart.”  For me, courage comes from the heart. It is from that place, I believe, that  we connect to the Universal mystery, find our truth, strength, and direction.

This is a time when we are called upon to connect with the courage of our hearts – the part of us that no longer allows fear to guide us.. the part of us that stands firmly but gently in our truth, despite the opinions and actions of others.

The Lunar Eclipse in Leo is  encouraging us to find perspective,  let go of old conditioning and to shine our lights brighter, be MORE loving, to ourselves and others, to expand our hearts, to be courageous and roar with our uniqueness!
