ART AND SOUL – CREATIVE THERAPY

My passion for art and creative expression started as a young child, when I found great solace in drawing and painting. This developed into a passion which led me to attending art  programmes at the  Findhorn Foundation in Scotland and The  Esalen Institute in California. Over the past fifteen years I have studied extensively and developed a process which I call  Art and Soul. Through guided imagery and process art,  I assist people in accessing their innate creativity and in so doing, deepening their understanding of and connection to themselves.

  • Private Creative Imagery and Process Art sessions
  • Weekly classes from my Home in Hillcrest
  • Weekend workshops and retreats countrywide
  • Corporate Creativity and Stress Release workshops

FINE ART

As an artist myself, I paint and sculpt commercially in my spare time. My paintings are mainly created in oils, or mixed media on highly textured surfaces. I paint impressionistically from life (mainly figurative) or more abstractly from within.

When painting from within, the paintings are relatively unplanned and I use whatever materials I feel should be in the picture, ranging from gemstones, shells and glass to metal.

LIGHT, MOVEMENT, FLOW AND CONNECTION

Movement, light, flow and connection are the themes that run through all my work, whether it be in service to others or my own art.

WRITING

I write a monthly monthly newsletter, which I now include in my blog, along with regular astrological updates here and on Facebook.
